My previous and present works, all in one!

Present Studies

  • Ion Irradiation and Characterization of Spent Nuclear Fuels

This work is focused to enhance the understanding of of the mechanisms leading to high-burnup structure (HBS) formation in nuclear fuel and develop experimentally validated computational capabilities for predicting grain subdivision and associated fission products evolution.

Previous Studies

  • Stress Analysis of a Simulated 3D Reactor Pressure Vessel of VVER-1200 Nuclear Reactor

The better sustainability amongst the three structural materials for manufacturing of an RPV is investigated and the results are compared and validated against the values obtained by calculation of formulae for different kinds of stresses, namely hoop stress, radial stress, and equivalent stress.

  • Development of a Wireless Radiation Monitoring and Mapping Robot based on Geiger-Muller Counter and Global Positioning System

This paper presents a simple facility which will provide an opportunity to monitor radiation data and create a visual mapping pattern based on the intensity of radiation. The fabrication of a wireless robot has been done which will be able to measure the radiation with the help of Geiger-Muller counter. The global positioning system (GPS) module has been incorporated for mapping purpose. A remote computer maybe used to store data wirelessly for further processing.
